5. Security Control Measures for Retained Personal Data

Otsuka implements the following measures:

  Rules are established regarding handling methods, responsible persons, and procedures at each stage (acquisition, use, storage, provision, deletion, etc.)

  Appointment of responsible personnel; clarification of employees handling data and scope; reporting system for violations
• (3) Personnel measures
  Regular training for employees; confidentiality obligations defined in work regulations
• (4) Physical measures
  Access control to areas handling personal data and prevention of unauthorized access
• (5) Technical measures
  Access control and system protection against unauthorized access and malware
• (6) Appropriate safeguards for international transfers
  When handling personal data outside Japan, Otsuka implements necessary and appropriate security management measures after understanding the personal data protection laws, regulations, and related systems of the relevant country.
